Change Starts With Me

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

It’s my pride. I don’t think I’m a proud person until I start to wonder what people will think of me if I do the things God has placed in my heart to do. That’s insecurity, and that IS pride! These desires that take up residence in my heart are not about me. This prodding to do things I don’t feel confident I can do isn’t about me. It’s about Jesus and what He has done. I’m just a vessel to share that goodness (the bigger-than-life goodness) that is God!! It’s about even one person who may not know that goodness yet.

It’s about changing my corner of the world, while the next person changes theirs. What if we all did that??? One small change creates another small change. It’s a domino effect or maybe a wildfire effect that spreads farther than we will ever know. This begins with investing time in God’s word and allowing it to change me, so that I change set aside my pride and do the things God calls me to.

I am so thankful to be God’s girl ❤️ Aren’t you glad you’re His too??
