A Threefold Cord

The verse in my devotion today was so timely, the day after Valentine’s Day. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says…Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
This is how I see my marriage. We are stronger together, but with God at the center of our marriage, we are a threefold cord not quickly broken. I praise God for the way He walked into this relationship, the way He has made us stronger. I look back and know He knew us, knew our hearts. He knew my husband would have a remarkable love for Him and, consequently, the deepest love for me ♥️. He answered my prayer for someone that would love me from an overflow of love for the Lord. God walks with us, and I praise Him for this gift every single day. What a blessing!! 🙌
I pray that each of you have a relationship, whether marriage or friendship, that is a threefold cord. We are stronger together, and keeping God at our center makes us even stronger.
